Windmill Hill Market is organised by David Pyne and Géraldine Wise of GD Events and Bristol Market.co.uk. With well over 15 years of expertise in managing markets in the city, we are passionate about supporting independent businesses and curating vibrant, community-driven events.
The market is held at Windmill Hill City Farm in Bedminster, a much-loved urban oasis and community hub – an exciting creative space where visitors can shop, eat, and connect. We take pride in creating a well-organised, welcoming environment, ensuring a fantastic experience for both stallholders and visitors.
The Farm’s family-friendly green spaces make it the perfect setting for discovering talented local makers, artisan food producers, and top-quality street food vendors. Whether you’re searching for unique handmade products, delicious food, or simply a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery, Windmill Hill Market is a must-visit destination in Bristol.

Easy access by bus routes 24, 70, 76, 90, A1, M1 (Asda Bedminster bus stop), or a 5-minute walk from Bedminster railway station / 20-minute walk from the Harbour.

Stalls
The market stalls feature fabulous independent brands, vintage, and food & drink produce.
Our talented artist makers, traders and producers offer an inspiring shopping experience. Look no further for original gifts as well as ethical products to live well with.
Stalls typically include jewellery; clothing; homewares; cards & prints; bath, beauty & wellness; and gourmet food products.
Don’t miss the Slow Fashion Wardrobe, where traders sell vintage and upcycled clothes.
You can also meet makers from Bristol Market’s online Makers Marketplace in ‘real life’.
Food
A delicious selection of some of Bristol’s best street food is on offer to sustain you while you shop. The menus change with each market. There’s also home-cooked, carefully sourced food from The Farm’s cafe.
Lots of outdoor space and picnic tables are available.
For Kids
The event is very child-friendly with the Farm’s gardens, trails and animals to visit
Dogs on leads are welcome. Look out for signs for restricted areas.
